The cute, new and green little boxes!

Early morning today, three merry little green boxes surprised UBD students with their sudden appearance!  They look foreign and since UBD is always in dire need of something new, it attracted a couple on onlookers, me included!

Aww, look at them!

According to a reliable source, these three skips, are actually the first set out of a promised ten sets. That means, there will be nine more put all over UBD in the next few weeks or so! =D

They’re so pretty!

This has resulted from negotiations with Metusin Recycling Sdn. Bhd. with the students and coordinator of the “Brunei Environment Action” (BEAC) course of the Student Development Programme this semester, in collaboration with the Estate Department of UBD.

Congratulations! Excellent move! *clap clap clap clap clap*

My school St james is actually going over for a field trip to UBD this April 7th and my Science teacher would LOVEEEEE to see the recycling thing. He is always like ‘ Hey you kids throw those rubbish and you’ll have a healthy environment !’

  2. They should scatter this cute green boxes all over the country.

It’ll be nice making trips to those recycle green boxes – knowing that we did something to save the environment.

  4. Liza, here’s a thought. Why don’t you negotiate with the recycling company so that they put the green boxes in Kiulap? 🙂 The UBD Nature Society after all, did it on their own with their very own initiative. So, if UBD can do it, why the hell not you? All u need is a couple of friends and *cheng* everyone in Kiulap/Gadong can recycle!
