The official dinner was at Atlantis Seafood Restaurant, located on the outskirts of the Kota Kinabalu city, about 20 minutes drive from the city centre. Didn’t have many nice pictures. 😦 Most turned out blurry and out of focus. That’s a big disadvantage of small digital cameras I think, at night the photo turnout tend to be quite moody.
Anyway, as soon as we arrived we were whisked off into the “VIP Room”, which really is just a small area with erm, flags, as we wait for the Chairman of the Sabah Tourism Board, Dato’ Seri Tengku Zainal Adlin (who just got off from Mount Kinabalu, I might add).
Before the arrival of the Guest of Honour, Head of the Sabah Tourism Board. Hustle and bustle of cameras and people.
Speeches were made, and laughter ensued. Then souvenirs were given. Conversation were aplenty. I will post up a group photo once someone passes it to me. Photographers, why so quiet!
But, one thing I definitely got were the food pictures! Hehe. What can I say, food don’t move so much!
Seafood Fried Rice
Mango Chicken (Ther’s some chicken under all that I swear!)
Tang Hoon Mushroom
Aubergine Asam Pedas
My plate. Chicken was nice.
Chinese tea to wash it down.
Food was just okay for me. I didn’t finish everything. Was looking for the seafood. 😛 Ah well. This post will be edited.
Oh the tanghoon – miss those kind of dish.
