Haha! I was expecting a different answer. Well, of course, I thought that the superstition was made so that we just wouldn’t point. It’s just that, I thought you meant something else. Heehee. So.. okay. (what am I saying??) 😆
Dang! I have moved! And I’m telling you this because I just realized that my link hasn’t changed from FP.net to SH.net! Hahaha. Well, I have my own now. 😉
A rainbow is a virtual image. Hence, it makes no sense to say that it has an ‘end’.
In fact, if you’re looking from an elevated position, you may actually see a circular rainbow. The science of rainbows is quite simple to understand, so you may want to try googling it.
It ends at your house wah??? ada ending wah? *surprised* .. I thought the rainbow only appears to have an end, but it doesn’t really. Heehee.
And why not point?
Heehee. I feel like a kid again! Haha. Asking you all these questions. Haha.

Atul, macam from far I can like see it ending on the garage but bila hampir, nada papa. Hehehe.
Not to point because, well, isn’t it a bit rude to point at anything regardless if it is a rainbow or not anyway?

There was a superstition, I think, that if you point a rainbow with your index finger, you’ll lose it. Haha.

hahaha. is that a Bruneian superstition?
Just like the one “Jangan bersiul. Memanggil Iblis.” Isn’t Iblis everywhere?
And my favourite:
“Jangan menyanyi waktu memasak, kawin orang tua kau karang.” Age is just a number, but not the amount of money in the bank. 😉

Well, granted that 40 year olds nowadays look like 30 year olds.. I’d say that is not really much of a threat in this day and time. Hehe.

It also makes no sense in trying to make sense out of what is obviously mere “monkeying”. 🙂
