I went to the Kristal FM and DST Roadshow obviously and wow! I haven't seen Jerudong Park that packed since 1997!
Great job Kristal FM! (and especially DJ Jenny who was hosting the roadshow from 8am to 5pm)
That picture was taken when it was less crowded. The sun was shining, it was warm, but hey, when you're sitting there on the shady patch of grass, with good company, having fun… 🙂

My friends and I were there at about 4pm. It was so packed I had trouble believing that Brunei could throw any sort of festival and have this many attendees. Still, we were a bit disappointed because DST called it a ‘carnival’ when it was more of a roadshow. We were expecting more games, clowns, balloon animals and cotton candy. You know, things associated with a carnival.
Still, unbelievable turnout for Brunei. We stopped off at Gadong after that and it was so empty (and it’s a Sunday!) We figured everyone must have been at JP.

hey maurina, thanx a lot for the info abt that cloth u used to make

LSM! I knew it! I was out there thinking “EVERYONE IN BRUNEI MUST BE HERE”. And only recently we were talking about how empty Jerudong park is! However, yes there should’ve been cotton candy! Maybe they weren’t expecting the crowd that size either!

Karin, wahhh, evidently you are more gifted a seamstress than I am! LOL. Veryyyyy nice. I like(favorite of all) the purse-like one with cow-ish/dalmation-ish fabric.
