Created by a talented blogger, this site comments about a broad range of local topics while seeking to promote Brunei on Global Voices Online, a non-profit website that exists to bridge countries and cultures across the globe.

BASK! BASK! OFFICIAL RECOGNITION!!! (Nevermind that it is on Page 14)
Download the .pdf format here.
Now if you would excuse me I would just like to pengsan and scream at the top on my lungs. Not neccesarilly in that order.
Update: The link to the article does not work. Brunei Times does not keep an online archive which is very boring and quite annoying. Therefore I’ve hosted the .pdf file on a free hosting site for future readers. Plus, the link above will link you to an image of the article on Flickr.

What did the writer mean by talented? Hehe. Well done.

Funkmasta, I am against tagboards did u not notice? Heheh. It encourages spamming. Well, that, and the fact that WordPress doesn’t allow tagboards. I used to have one on ye olde blog. However, next time you have strong irresistable urges to tag, shout out or whatever equivalent verb, just email me directly at maurina@gmail.com. Hehe.

Ummi, it is not so much the fact that the Brunei Times had done me a great service. The article was all the way in Page 14, to even notice. Yes, it is official recognition and although I have YET to witness a sudden upward jolt in my blog statistics, the more important message that the BT is trying to send to us bloggers are, that they are not against us, and that they consider us “friendly allies” in the big bad world of journalism.
That, lai, is enough to send me off to the land of pretty ponies and pink rainbows where nothing ever goes wrong. π
