International Blog Day 2006

As if I wanted to be left out, I am participating in the International Blog Day 2006. It really couldn’t have come at a better time since, four days ago, it has officially been one year since I wrote my first blog post! Ahhhh, humble beginnings~ I remember those times when I only have 1 daily reader. Then Naz started reading my blog too and my readership doubled!

πŸ™‚ *glee*

Anyway, *pats on the back*, here are the things I need to do to participate in this celebration of the people.

BlogDay posting instructions:

1. Find 5 new Blogs that you find interesting

2. Notify the 5 bloggers that you are recommending on them on BlogDay 2005

3. Write a short description of the Blogs and place a a link to the recommended Blogs

4. Post the BlogDay Post (on August 31st) and

5. Add the BlogDay tag using this link: http://technorati.com/tag/BlogDay2006 and a link to BlogDay web site at http://www.blogday.org

So! Five new blogs that I find interesting ARE:

1. Aboutabout: Written by Mama Lobengs, THE NATURAL COMEDIAN! Some might know her from her equally funny but even more famous blogger niece, IDOLA MELBEN (hehe), but hey! The funny genes runs in the family.
2. It’s all about food!: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY! Enough said. (I LOVE food blogs, we should have more which are not on a hiatus or DELETED, *looks at Santap Something*
3. (By this time, I have run out of new blogs to recommend) So I’ll just stop here, for now.
Do you have any to recommend?

UPDATE:

Number 3: Ing Siang also has an extremely informative blog which covers issues regarding computers, the Internet, and other miscellaneous things. Hahaaa. Yes, I’ve recently just learnt what AJAX is from his blog. Don’t worry, IT’S READABLE, unlike many explanations online.

#4: Amie Heidi: You know how I get all worked up about women’s rights and the fact that chauvinism is still rampant in today’s society? She experiences these gender politics in the UBD MPPK and records them in this blog. I love opinionated ladies, and even more when they blog. Read hers.
