<insert apology for not blogging in ages>

On the subject of why I haven’t been blogging, here’s the answer: I’ve been distracted.

Over the last few weeks (months!) I have been obsessively following the following TV shows:

• Project Runway
• The Closer

• Switched at Birth
• Game of Thrones
• The Walking Dead
• Hoarders
• The Secret Circle
• Ringer

As you can see I watch everything. Please stop sending me emails. 😛

In the bouts of time when I don’t blog, please remember that I do still exist in the form of a microblog.

When I’m not in front of the laptop streaming these TV shows (thanks Espeed I love you!), I have been doing the following:

1. Eating stuff from my airfryer.

I am a confirmed airfyer convert.

Especially after I tried making these chicken nuggets in it and got the exact same results!

2. Discovering yummy greasy gems outside the home cause I don’t eat deep fried food at home anymore.

Restoran Bahagia Teratur (what a name!) is a place that sells amazing Korean fried chicken. It’s also known as Yam Yam Fried Chicken. And you know how I lovvvvve my fried chicken!

And you know what I love more than fried chicken? Cheap and delicious fried chicken!

3. Berhari Raya

That’s why I didn’t post anything during raya! Yes so many many raya open houses. So many that I still feel a bit sick of rendang haha.

On the second day of raya, we got together for a family portrait. Hehe.

4. Just generally hanging out a lot

By hanging out I mean, being physically together in close proximity, but as you can see, all facing down towards the phone. That’s why, I you miss me, just find me on Twitter! Haha.

5. Celebrating birthdays

This is us inviting ourselves to a family function cause our birthday girl said she’s not coming to the gym (original plan was to surprise her there). Shameless that’s what we are.

6. MORE weddings!

I seriously have lost count as to how many weddings I’ve been to this year. Stop getting married people I’ve run out of clothes!!! Haha.

Here are the boys, looking unusually clean. They’re only friends cause of us hahahahah.

7. Being present at the first ever social media conference in the history of Brunei: Brunei Online: That’s Where It’s @

Not only was I present, I was the disembodied emcee.

No I don’t know why I look so constipated.

Anyway, due to this event, I also have a new amazing set of friends from Borneo! We reprezent! LOL

Brought them to many places, places where I myself haven’t been in ages. I miss Brunei even when I’m in Brunei!

8. Riding on a fun little electric car, courtesy of EmmaGoodEgg and Mitsubishi!

This was so fun! ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS FTW. Haha. Wait for her article in The Brunei Times ok. No spoilers.

9. Riding on my own pretty low carbon emissions car.

Yes I finally did it. I bought myself a new car.

A car is an investment. Unfortunately, it’s a really bad investment, make no mistake. It is expensive. It depreciates a ridiculous 10% every year, while maintenance costs continue to increase. Interest rates for financing is super high and seven years is a really long time.

Unfortunately that didn’t stop me from buying an expensive car! I think I deserve one at least in my whole lifetime. 🙂

New car is a hybrid so I save oodles and oodles on petrol. Since the beginning of October I’ve only had to fill the petrol up once. As compared to my previous car, I buy petrol every Saturday or Sunday. I find it super awesome that my carbon emissions are significantly lower now.

I foresee a future where all cars are either hybrid, or pure electric. All cars I buy from now on will be. 🙂

10. What’s in store for me in the next few weeks?
